wanna.

I wanna be happy,
Not twisted in despair,
I wanna feel true love,
Not that nobody fucking cares,

I wanna see the future saved,
Not torn apart at the seams,
I wanna see us rise up as one,
Not the nightmares in my dreams,

I wanna feel we can make it,
Not that we've already lost,
I wanna see us take a stand,
Not just fight over the cost,

I wanna say we have a chance,
Not to fail our childrens tomorrow,
I wanna say that but now it seems,
Not likely, and full of sorrow.

Here's hoping I am wrong, but the longer we squabble over the cost of change, the more expensive it is going to get. You don't need a PHD in Finance to know that. The whole planet needs to make a huge effort in making zero impact energy sources, like solar production of Hydrogen for consumption in regular vehicles or fuel cell cars of tomorrow. A fuel cell car makes enough power to run your whole house from it if required. So instead of plugging in the car to the house, you would plug the house into the car if their was a blackout. We either start to make this available technology more attractive with government incentives or we give our children the worst gift of all, a bleak, cold and miserable future. The problem isn't that the oil will run out, it's the damage it will do before it does run out. These changes will take hundreds of years to fix once the world stops using fossil fuels, but the sooner we start, the sooner we have a future worth giving to our children. Nothing Else Matters.

Pathos.
