Something Different. Hope you like it.

Saturday Dawning.

Your light shoots to the ground,
I see you up so high,
You sparkle off the ocean,
As I'm driving by,

I have to stop and capture,
This image before my eyes,
The subtle orange hughes,
That light the morning sky,

An awesome sight before me,
You slowly start to rise,
You slowly change your color,
As you head into the sky,

This image I will treasure,
The birth of the morning,
Thankyou Mother Nature,
Another day is dawning.

Above is the Panorama I made in Panorama Maker Pro 4. Great Program, and it's so easy to get great results. Yet another awesome sunrise in Northern Tasmania. For Full Size Picture (4107 by 1336 pixels) email me and I can send a copy. It is 3 different photo's stitched together. It turned out great for a camera-phone shot taken with the best 2 megapixel camera phone in my opinion, the Sony Ericsson W800i. It is better than some standalone 2 megapixel cameras I have seen. But I really do need the upgrade to something in the 10 megapixel range.

This poem was written as an homage to the great sunrise last Saturday morning at 0730am as I was leaving Burnie Tasmania. The Red Crescent moon that morning at 6am was sweet too, with Venus so bright directly above it, but I didn't have a decent enough camera to capture it. I would have needed one of those 21 megapixel wonders to do it justice. But I don't have a spare $5000us to spend on a camera unfortunately.

Pathos
