A Question of Necessity.

Mayor I wanna ask a question,
Is it so bad for people to smoke pot,
To help the pain that they are facing,
From the cancer that they've got,

Is it so bad for them to grow,
A few plants in their backyard,
You could just give them permission,
Is it really so goddamn hard?


Short one I wrote cause I like the word play with the word Mayor at the start. Just came to me while in the lift at the Mersey Hospital Latrobe.

I don't think everyone should be able to use marijuana, but if your dying of cancer, and normal medicines can barely control the pain, I say let them use marijuana instead. It's much better at reducing the sensation of pain, because the THC (Tetra Hydra Cannibinol) blocks the pain receptors directly. Surely if your dying of cancer the least our governments can do for us, is help block the pain however we see fit. It is our body after all. As far as I know I don't have cancer. I wrote this for those who do.
