Water,fire, sky, salvation,
Humanity, lost, searching,
Light, dark, struggle,
Costly, futility, loss.

Random Acts Of Poetry.

Smoke on the water,
Fire in the sky,
Salvation of us all,
To live or to die,

Humanity is lost,
Searching for a home,
Fighting all the odds,
To no longer roam,

The people of the light,
Fight against the dark,
A struggle to survive,
Or to be torn apart,

A costly war it wages,
The futility of it all,
The losses are so great,
The gains so very small,

The victory so small once won,
It makes you feel so hollow,
To face the future now,
You see a bleak tomorrow,

But face it all we must,
And start again we will,
To follow the makers plan,
We've such big shoes to fill.

Written in 10minutes at 23:05pm on the 23/08/2009. Started with the random words at the top and went from there. LOL. Theme inspired by the story of Battlestar Galactica as I recently finished watching the whole series.
